Portraits of energy, connection and vibration.
Everything we experience begins with energy. Our bodies are constantly alive with electrical activity.
At the same time, electricity is something we cannot see. We experience its effects, but not the force itself. This makes it both a physical reality and an almost poetic idea; a hidden energy that connects body, mind and environment.
Music creates another fascinating connection. Sound is vibration, but what begins as a physical wave can become electrical activity inside the brain. When we listen to music, our auditory system transforms sound into neural signals. Rhythm, frequency and harmony interact with brain activity and can influence attention, emotion, memory and our physical state.
We are not separate from electricity.
We exist within it.

I’m Pierre Zoller, a Berlin-based artist working primarily with acrylic on canvas. My work is influenced by the raw visual language of street art, the energy of the city, skateboarding culture and, perhaps most importantly, music.
I’ve been playing guitar for many years and am part of a band. Music has always been a constant presence in my life, not just something I listen to, but something I feel. Rhythm, distortion, repetition, noise and energy all find their way into my visual work.
My professional background is in graphic design. I trained as a book printer, graduated from the Berlin School of Graphic Design in 2001 and have worked for more than 20 years as a graphic and brand designer. In 2019, I founded my own design studio.
